Gene A. Silveus, age 51, passed away at 8:52 am Saturday August 22, 2015 at home.
He was born on May 8, 1964 the son of the late Clifford & Jeanette (Clayton) Silveus.
Gene was employed for several years at Maneke Jewelers and the Eagles Club in Alton. Most recently he was employed at World Wide Technologies. He enjoyed collecting watches and spending time watching vintage movies with his cat. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by a sister Jodi and her husband Chris Parrino of Brighton, IL; a brother Michael Dorsey of FL; three nieces, Carrie Zini, Hannah Parrino, and Emily Parrino, one nephew, Nicholas Parrino; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Steven Dorsey.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 4 pm until time of service at 6pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Pastor Stan Hunt will be officiating. Burial will be Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 10 am at Valhalla Memorial Park.
