Florence S. Dunn, 95, went to be with the Lord at 3:40 AM on May 31, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
She was born on June 22, 1918 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida Schubert. She married Rev. Robert W. Dunn on February 13, 1943 in Collingswood, New Jersey.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of 71 years , son Lorin (Debra) and daughter Bonnie (William) Stork; grandchildren, David (Linda) Jones, Matthew (Michele) Jones, Kristen (David) Lange, Lindsay Dunn and her fiancé, Jason Wampler, Tyler (Erica) Dunn, Matthew (Sara) Darr and Anthony Darr; great grandchildren, Alex Jones, Abraham and Corrine Jones, Christopher Rowland, Lila Dunn, Vivian Dunn, Brandon and Adam Lange, Andrew Roberts, Madison and Emma Darr. She is also survived by a brother Henry A. Schubert of Vero Beach, Florida and nephews, Eric (Anna) Schubert of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Mark (Marcia) Schubert of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Visitation and service was held on June 4, 2014 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Godfrey, where she was a member. Service was conducted by Pastor Adrian Das. Florence was buried at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
