Eva Dean Little

Eva Dean Little, 88, passed away Sunday January 20, 2013 at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton.

She was born on April 6, 1924 in Harrisburg, IL, the daughter of Harvey Loren and Emma Jane (Stilley) Milligan.

She married Thomas Earl Little on March 23, 1946 in Alton. He passed away February 1983.

She was an executive secretary for Olin Corporation until her retirement in 1980. She attended the Moro Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star, was president of the Professional Secretaries for several years. Until recently she resided in Parkside Estates in Bethalto and enjoyed reading, quilting and many long term friendships with her many neighbors and extended family.

Eva is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Millard Dale Milligan of Alton, James Dwight and Pam Milligan of Lake Forest, IL and Danny L. and Jo Nell Milligan of Elgin, Arizona; a grandson, Ryan Jeremy De Pew; a daughter-in-law, Cindy De Pew and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Dean Little and a brother, Lester Marvin Milligan.

Visitation will be from 11 am until time of funeral services at 12 Noon Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto with Rev. Charles Hoekstra officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to the Moro Presbyterian Church.
