Eula Ailene Jones, 92, passed away 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on August 21, 1922 in Blossom, TX, she was the daughter of Oscar H. and Carrie M. (Dawson) Bailey.
She had been an active member of the Hartford 1st Baptist Church.
She married Frank Oral Jones on September 1, 1942 in Texas. He died November 13, 1989.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Della Jones of Hartford; two granddaughters, Leslie (Scott) Schmidt, Jennifer Jones; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta (George) Parks of Irving, TX, Janice Bailey; and brother-in-law, Fred Chance.
Preceding in death were her parents; husband; and two sisters, Robbinelle Chance and Mary Helen Allen.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
