Elsie L. (Cathorall) Duty, 77, of Bunker Hill, passed away at 7:12pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 peacefully at home. She was born on June 10, 1936 in Bunker Hill, IL to Hubert (Mike) and Ruby (Landreth) Cathorall. She married Lloyd Duty on June 8, 1956 at Fosterburg Baptist Church. Elsie worked many years as a Unit Clerk at St. Anthony's, drove a school bus and worked side by side with her husband on the farm. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Duty of Bunker Hill, son, Don (Connie) Duty of Graham, WA, daughter Sandra (Tim) Carman of Cedar Rapids, IA, son David (Sarah) Duty of Bunker Hill, grandchildren, Jim (Rebecca) Duty of Oakdale, CA, Abigail (Duty) and Tsuma Ngala of Fortworth, TX, Megan (Carman) and Mike Burns of Ames, IA, Brett and Jennifer (Dozier) Carman of Cedar Rapids, IA, Beth Duty of Bunker Hill and Amy Duty of Bunker Hill. She is survived by sisters, Helen Manns of Godfrey, IL, Roberta Godwin of Salem, Ark, Carolyn Golden of Cambridge, FL, brothers, Danny Cathorall of Pittsfield, IL and Mike Cathorall of Alton, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Earl Cathorall. Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 9 to 10:30 am at Berean Baptist Church where funeral will follow at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 1, 2014 with Rev. Jeff Warix officiating. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Dallas and Nancy Putnam Missionaries with Continental Baptist Missions.
