Elizabeth Ann Toth, 97, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Eunice C. Smith Home.
Born Dec. 15, 1917 in Wood River, She was the daughter of Joseph M. and Mary R. Toth.
Ann worked as a clerk for Union Electric Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1980. She was a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton, and was a member of D. of I. in Wood River.
She is survived by a niece, JoAnn (Keith) Ray and a great niece, Angela M. Rodgers, all of Wood River.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary V. Toth; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph B. Toth and Stephen and Doris Toth.
Visitation will be at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10:30 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Father Jim Walther, OMV will officiate.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
