Earl George Strawbridge, 79, passed away at 5:13 pm, on Friday, July 25, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Flint, MI on November 15, 1934, the son of the late Edmond and Rachel Strawbridge.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by two sons: George Strawbridge and his wife Kathy of Brighton, IL and Scott Strawbridge of Woodburn, IL; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
