Doris M. Greer, 89, formerly of Alton, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Town and Country Missouri.
She was born on December 25, 1925 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Dwight and Beulah (Wheatley) Little.
She is survived by four children and one son-in-law: Gary (Joan) Greer of Phoenix, AZ, Brad (Pam) Greer of Chesterfield, MO. Carolyn (Greg) Elledge of Murphy, North Carolina, and Gayle Greer of Town and Country, MO, David (Anne) Edelen of Grape Vine,Texas. Eight grandchildren: Julie Krol, Heath Greer, Ben Greer, Nate Owen, Rachel Lauderdale, Naomi Barksoaale, Adam Edelen and Daniel Edelen. Eighteen great grandchildren; and a friend and business partner, Norma Humm.
Her daughter Lynda Edelen (2009), parents and a brother, Dean Little, preceded her in death.
A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 until services at 10:30 am Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, IL on Friday, September 4, 2015 with Pastor Ron Woods officiating. Burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
