Denny Raulsten Youngblood, 70, died at 10:19 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.He was born in Stella, Mo., on August 7, 1945, one of three sons born to William O'Don & Helen Louise (Raulsten)Youngblood.He graduated in 1963 from Jersey Community High School,  and for 27 years resided in Hamburg until moving to the Dow area in 2002.  He and Mary remained there until recently moving to Farina. He was a sales representative for Granger Hardware, and industrial supply company in St. Louis, Mo, for many years, before becoming a sales rep for Lawson Products, a maintenance and hardware supply company out of Des Plaines, Il., where he worked for nearly 25 years before retiring in 2010, after suffering a major stroke.Denny was a cowboy at heart, and enjoyed anything pertaining to horses.  He was a member of the former Jerseyville Saddle Club, where he held the position of President at one time.  He was also a member of the Lousville Church of Christ, and a former member of the Godfrey Church of Christ.He married the former Mary Ferenbach on June 17, 1972 in Alton, and together they have shared 43 years together.Surviving are his wife, Mary Youngblood of Farina; four daughters & sons in law, Jill & Randy Fraley of Grafton, Jennifer & & John Myers of Jerseyville, Sarah & Greg Courison of Farina, and Kathy & John Scuggs of Olathe, Ks.; a son & daughter in law, Kenny & Judy Devening of St. Peters, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, RonaldYoungblood of Jerseyville.He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, Denny Robert Nevlin; a brother & sister in law, Gary & SandraYoungblood; and his father in law & mother in law, Lawrence "Joe" and Berl "Toots" Ferenbach.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. James Lampley will officiate.Burial will take place in the Noble Cemetery in Otterville.Memorials may be given to the Vahle Terrace in Jerseyville or the Shults-Lewis Childrens Home in Valparaiso, In.
