Darlene Robinson

Darlene Robinson was born October 24, 1958 in Alton, Illinois to the union of the late Christopher Robinson, Sr. and Pattie Mae (Hutchins) Herron.Darlene graduated from Alton Senior High School in the class of 1976. She was employed at St Joseph Hospital as a CNA and then later became a home health provider.  Darlene loved being around family and friends, playing cards, and giving the neighborhood kids a ride on her hover round.Darlene departed this life Tuesday, January 28 at 6:20 p.m.at Vibra hospital in Springfield, Illinois.She was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, William Herron, Sr., Carl Herron, Sr., and Maurice Herron;  2 sisters, Ethel Mclemore and Sharron Terry; 1 sister in law, Patricia Herron; 1 brother in law, Samuel Morgan, Sr.She leaves to cherish precious memories: her beautiful daughter, Willie Mae Boyd; 4 sisters, Joyce Morgan, Gloria Winn, Brenda (Larry) Beard all of Alton, and Melva Gordon of Wagoner,OK; 1 brother, Christopher (Leslie) Robinson of Decatur, IL; 2 sister in laws, Marie and Zora Herron; 1 aunt, Jeanette Robinson of Troy, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.Visitation will convene Friday, February 7, from 9 until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Deliverance Temple C.O.G.I.C.  Dr. Gregory L.
