Dale Lee

Dale Lee, 79, passed away at 12:15 am, on Thursday January 17, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center.

He was born in Alton, IL on April 10, 1933 the son of the late Novis C. and Mildred (Wilson) Rodgers.

On February 5, 1954 he married Ruby Keene of Fosterburg, IL.

He was a brick mason for many years until he became the owner and operator of Maple Bowl and Lounge in Spanish Lake, MO.

In addition to his wife of fifty-eight years, Dale is survived by three sons and their wives, Novis and Linda Lee of Catawissa, MO, Alan and Cheryl Lee of rural Jersey County, and Rodney and Nancy Lee of Arnold, MO; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronnie and his wife Jo Lee of Godfrey; a half sister Paula Rodgers; and a half brother Charles Rodgers Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In celebration of his life, a memorial visitaion will be from 4 to 8 pm, Monday January 21, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.

Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital or to the Hope Animal Shelter.
