Christopher Lee Snyder, 42, passed away, unexpectedly February 21, 2015.
Born in Alton on February 5, 1973, he was the son of Mary E. Collier and the late Travis E. Snyder.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he had been attending trade school at Vatterott College.
On December 15, 2008, he married the former Sarah Young. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are a daughter, Kristen Snyder of Godfrey; three sisters, Toni (Jamie) Adams of Wood River, Beth Snyder of Cottage Hills, Micki (Bob) Berrey of Wood River; several nieces and nephews.
Reverend Richard Newcom conducted private family services.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of funeral expenses.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
