Bruce Bagby, 54, died at 1:39 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. Born October 3, 1958 in Granite City, he was the son of Wilbur E. and Mary L. (Grindstaff) Bagby.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed landscaper in the Alton area.

Surviving are two brothers, Ben Bagby of Springfield, IL, and Brian Bagby of Alton, and two sisters, Rebecca Bagby of Manchester, MO, and Barbara Bagby-Zimmerman of Alton.

Private graveside services will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
