Bonnie L. Trail, 72, passed away at 8:18pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Christian Northeast Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1944, in Alton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Loftis) Crane. She married Carrel “Gene” “Mark” Trail on November 5, 1962, in Boise, Idaho, and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters and sons in law: Kimberly and Ted McGibany of Godfrey, Ann and Phil Meredith of Nashua, New Hampshire, one son and daughter in law: Joseph and Stephanie Trail of Godfrey, six grandchildren: Tanner, Emily, Zachary, Samantha, Nicole, Ashley, a great granddaughter: Parker, an expectant great grandchild, and one sister: Patricia Rose of Alton.
Bonnie was formerly employed as an inspector at Olin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
