Betty E. (Droege) Eilerman, 85, died at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Calhoun Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born on July 3, 1930, one of six children of John and Clara (Baalman) Droege. She was married to Jerome M. Eilerman on September 14, 1957. She and Jerome shared 55 years together before he passed away in June of 2013. Together they raised their four children on the family farm in Batchtown.
Betty is survived by her four children, Marty (Mary Wieneke) Eilerman, Rick (Debbie Mossman) Eilerman, all of Batchtown, Dan (Stacey Pohlman) Eilerman of Carrollton, and Kim (Denny) Vogel of Golden Eagle. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren with 2 step great grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way. Amy and Tim Roth, Elaina and Tommy of Harin; Kari and Luke Fraley, Jenna, Marissa, Natalie, Evan and Toby of Kampsville; Brad and Megan (Ferguson) Eilerman, Clara and Emmit of Batchtown; Kyle and Jennifer (Rose), and baby (due any day) of Hardin; Kelly Brangenberg, Easton Hoyt, Megan Brangenberg; Adam and Kim (Reeves) Eilerman, Anabel and Henry of Batchtown; Jeff and Abi (Ruyle) Eilerman, Evee and baby (due in Sept.) of Jerseyville; Ben and Kendall (Klocke) Eilerman of Batchtown; Jessica Eilerman of Batchtown (fiancée Tucker Baalamn); Jay and Justine (Tucker) Eilerman, Brookelyn, Bailey, and Bowen of Carrollton, Drew and Mariah (Bizallion) Eilerman, Audrey of Litchfield; Hayden and Kayce (Kraut) Eilerman of Carrollton; Katie Vogel (fiancée Vinny Mulkins) and Emma Vogel of Golden Eagle.
Betty is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Ralph Droege and family of St. Charles, MO; Mary Lee (Bob) Rose and family of Brussels; and Judy Droege and family of Baltimore, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Russell and Charles Droege; and a sister, Florence Scott, and her daughter-in-law, Susan (Stumpf) Eilerman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm at Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home on Friday, April 15, 2016.
Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Batchtown with Fr. Don Roberts.
Interment will follow at St. Barbara’s Cemetery in Batchtown.
