Betty Alice Full, 75, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home.
Born March 7, 1939 in Naylor, Mo., she was a daughter of William Ward and Clara (Reynolds) Gambill.
She married Bobby “Bob” George Full on March 7, 1959 (her 22nd birthday) in Hartford. They shared many years together in Hartford, in the house he built himself. He passed away Dec. 17, 2007.
She is survived by a daughter, Julie Full-Lopez of Staunton; a son, Steven Full of Alton; 2 grandchildren, Matthew (Courtney) Lopez and Nicholas Full; 3 great grandchildren, Aidan Full, Mia Lynn Lopez, and Ryan Martin; a sister, Roxie Wertenberger of Fairdealing, Mo.; a brother, Charles “Boots” Gambill of Doniphan, Mo.; a sister-in-law who was like a sister to Betty, Alice Gambill; and a close nephew, Gary Gambill.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ples Gambill.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 10 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at noon.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
