Bernard Foutch, 89, passed away at 8:20 am Sunday June 21, 2015 at home with his family by his side.
He was born on June 23, 1925 in Broughton, IL the son of the late James D. & Velma Elizabeth (Johnson) Foutch.
Bernard married Eunice Blume on May 8m, 1947 in St. Charles, MO. She survives.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Godfrey and retired from the Roxana School District with the maintenance department. He was also a former Deacon at the Kimberling City, Missouri Church of Christ, a Boy Scout and Cub Scout Leader, and he enjoyed fishing,
In addition to his wife, Eunice Foutch of Moro, he is also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James & Katherine Foutch of East Alton, Gary & Melody Foutch of South Roxana, Ron & Carole Foutch of Lake in the Hills, IL; a daughter and son-in-law, Lesa & Greg Donelson of East Alton; thirteen grandchildren, James D., Jason, Josh, Jared, Janet and Katie Foutch, Robyn, Aryn, and Luke Hanebrink, Jamie and Zachary Donelson, Chad and Caitlin McClellan; several great grandchildren; and one nephew, John Foutch.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by two brothers, James D. & J. Robert Foutch; and one sister, Irene Smithey.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday June 25, 2015 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto where funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday June 26, 2015 with James Lampley officiating.
Burial will follow at Marine Cemetery in Marine, IL.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Godfrey.
