Benita A. Elias

Benita A. Elias, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Palm Coast, FL. She was formerly from Bethalto and Godfrey.

She was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Grace (Montgomery) Williams. She was born in Dana, IL on June 7, 1913.

Benita married Chester G. Elias in Chicago on January 1, 1933. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2002, after 69 years of marriage.

She is survived by three sons and their spouses Chester G. (Ann) Elias Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Rev. William (Claudia) Elias of Bonnell, Fl, Rod C. (Sharon) Elias of Godfrey, IL, son-in-law Murray Olsen of Warrenville, IL, eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Benita was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, a daughter Benita Dianne Olsen and a brother Donald Williams.

Services will be conducted at the Flager Beach Community Church with the Rev. William Elias officiating, and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Streator, IL.
