Anna Marie Saul

Anna Marie Saul, 87, of East Alton, IL, died at 7:49 a.m., Sat. Feb. 9, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton, IL.

She was born July 19, 1925 in Hardin, IL to the late Michael & Bernice (Kraut) Kelly.

On Aug. 16, 1947, she and Wilburt D. Saul were married in Michael, IL. He survives in East Alton.

Anna worked for International Shoe Tannery and Alcan as well as being a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

In addtion ot her husband of 66 years, she is survived by: a son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Liz Saul, a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce & Andrew Ventimiglia, all of Wood River, IL, 6 grandchildren, Julie (Corey) Unterbring, Sheri (Leo Stone) Ventimiglia, Gina (Adam) tassinari, Stacy (Ricky) Militello, Jared Saul and Aaron Saul, 9 great-grandchilren, a sister, Jean Benoist, a brother, Charles Kelly, both of Hamburg, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by: a sister, Alice Buchanan and a brother, Michael Kelly.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon. Feb. 11, 2013 at Paynic Home For Funerals. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tues. Feb. 12, 2013 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. James Flach as celebrant. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardnes.
