Alma Leona Welling, 99, passed away at 10:35 am on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Rosewood Care Center in Alton, IL.
She was born on January 3, 1915, in Fosterburg, IL, the daughter of Frank J. and Rilla (Harris) Welling.
She worked at Olins for of 36 years as a machine operator, she was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg.
She is survived by eight niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters; Viola Welling, Sophia Meeden, Edith Welling and Grace Nutty, and two brothers; Clarence and Lester Welling.
Visitation will be from 9 am till time of service at 11 am, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev Mark Stone officiating.
Burial will follow at Short Cemetery in Cottage Hills, IL.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Presbyterian Church in Fosterburg.
