Richard “Ricky” Glen Forsythe, 45, of Meadowbrook, IL, died at 9:45 p.m. Sat. Dec. 13, 2014 at VIP Manor in Wood River, IL.
He was born May 7, 1969 in Alton, IL to the late Cecil & Vivian Marie (Hardy) Forsythe.
Richard had been a carpet and floor installer. He loved his “happy times”, fishing and spending time with his family, friends and grandkids.
Survivors include: a daughter, Cassandra and her husband, Ryan Malloy of Hillsboro, IL, 3 grandchildren, Curtis Segrest, Rheece & Garrett Malloy of Hillsboro, IL, 4 brothers, Ron Forsythe of Bethalto, IL, Dennis Forsythe of East Alton, IL, Robert Forsythe of Granite City, IL and Timothy Forsythe of AR, 6 sisters, C. Joyce DeCobert of East Alton, Lisa Daugherty of Bethalto, Karen & Jim McDonald of Meadowbrook, Mona & Greg Whyers of Wood River, IL, Lori Forsythe of Moro , IL and Tammy Forsythe of Godfrey, IL as well as several nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, C. Ray Forsythe , 2 sisters, Rebecca Thornton and Donna Forsythe and a nephew, William Nance.
Memorial visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at 6:00 p.m. Fri. Dec. 19, 2014 at Paynic Home for Funerals
