Patricia A. Maher, 75, passed away at 7:25 am Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Alton, IL on August 10, 1939, the daughter of Frederick and Rosemary (Stolze-Jun) Harshbarger.
Patricia married William Maher on November 12, 1960, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.
She enjoyed her grandkids and crocheting in her spare time.
She is survived by a her husband, William Maher Sr. of Alton, five children and spouses, William A. & Victoria Maher Jr. of Alton, Shawna & Timothy Murray of Seattle, WA, Cynthia & Aaron Goodrich of Portland, OR, Joseph & Jennifer Maher of St. Jacob, and Margaret & Patrick Hill of Edwardsville; eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Alina & Liam Maher, Shannen & Kathryn Murray, Caleb & Darby Goodrich, and Amelia Maher; three brothers, Fritz, Ronald, and Andrew Harshbarger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Harshbarger, and two sisters, Debbie Violet and Marie McNamee.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to Marquette Catholic High School.
