Colette J. Hale, 54, passed away at 11:36 pm Monday, November 17, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on March 3, 1960 in Overland, MO, the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Opal L. (Hughes) Flanagan.
She married her husband of 35 years, Alvin J. Hale, on January 20, 1979 in Harvester, MO. He survives.
Colette was a homemaker and attended Hartford Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved taking care of all her grandchildren.
In addition to husband, she is survived by two sons, Allan Aligholi of Hartford and Thomas A.B. Hale of Alton; one daughter-in-law, Amanda Aligholi; one sister, Sherry D. Flanagan (David) Lange of St. Peters, MO; one brother, Thomas Allen Flanagan of MO; and six grandchildren, Sierra Marie Aligholi, Kayla McKinzie Aligholi, Alvin Gene Hale Jr., Donnie Meadows, Daniel Sorenson, and Devin Sorenson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Alvin G. Hale, December 25, 2010.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Hale family to help with funeral expenses.
