Dolores Venita Taylor, 88, of Bethalto, IL, died at 1:22 p.m. Sun. Oct. 12, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.
She was born Mar. 30, 1926 in St. Louis, MO to the late John & Dorothy (Weeks) Koprich.
On Oct. 16, 1948, she and Hamer Barton Taylor were married in Bethalto. He survives in Bethalto.
Dolores was a homemaker and had also worked at Olin Corp. and Geno’s 140 and enjoyed decorating cakes. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. & Mrs. Taylor bowled in a Senior League for many years together.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: a son and daughter-in-law, John B. & Patty Taylor of Brighton, a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy & John Berghoff of Alton, 6 grandchildren, Mandy Dilks, Samantha Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Rhonda Dearing, Keith & Ryan Berghoff, and 5 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler, Madeline, Alex & Brandon.
Services will be private at Paynic Home for Funerals
