Barbara R. Collins, age 69, of Alton, passed away at 8:33 pm Monday, August 18, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton.She was born March 15, 1945, in Washington County MO, the daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl (Martin) Rowe.She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.She is survived by a daughter and her husband; Shelia Vickery and Eugene Carroll of Alton, one grandchild and his spouse; Paul and Brooke Simmons of St. Louis, MO two sisters; Margie Castilio of CA and Carol Castilio of St. Louis, MO, three brothers; Billy Rowe of Alton, Mike and his spouse Sandy Rowe of Afton, MO and Pete Rowe of Potosi, MO, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; Angie Collins and a grandson; Michael Simmons.Visitation will be from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Pastor Charles West officiating.Memorials may be made to the Funeral Home to help with expenses.Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton are in charge of arrangements.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
