Jonah Donovan Naylor, 7 days, went to be with the Angels at 1:51pm on Friday, July 4, 2014, at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. He was born on June 27, 2014, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Joel and Desiree (Carlton) Naylor. In addition to his parents, survivors include his big brother: Liam Naylor, his maternal grandparents: Darren and Robin Carlton of East Alton, his paternal grandparents: Rev. Timothy and Lisa Naylor of Brighton, his maternal great grandparents: Don and Catherine Carlton of East Alton, George and Jane Hartley of Royal Lakes, his paternal great grandparents: Harold Naylor of Alton, Darlene Frame of Alton, Pete Spiroff of Monrovia, California, his uncles and aunts: Darreth and Andrew Naylor, Donea and Kyle Deardeuff, Deanette and Steven Meyer, Zach Carlton, Andrew Carlton, Daniel and Nikki Naylor, and his six cousins: Avery, Hadley, Carter, Addison, Zoey, and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother: Jeanette Hartley, his paternal great grandmother: Margaret Lucille Naylor, and his great uncles: Mike Cobbel, and Larry Naylor.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 12pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Mark Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
