Dolores Meyer, formerly of Wood River, died June 14. Born in 1921 in Belleville, Ill. to parents Frank and Anna Meyer. They moved to Wood River about 1926. She married Francis J Manning in 1944. Francis Manning died 8 Dec 1975. She married Hoyle (Joe) Broaddus 24 Dec 1975 in Las Vegas. She married John Leroy Basler in Sun City 11 July 1994, divorced 2004. Dolores passed in Sun City 14 June 2014.
All husbands preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters with Francis Manning: Francine Manning of Sun City, Ariz. and Marcia Manning Kortmeyer and son in law Richard (Dick) Kortmeyer of Trophy Club, Tex.; grandson Scott Manning Kortmeyer; and three great granddaughters Dejanee Boyko, Aspen Kortmeyer, and Riley Kortmeyer all of Southlake, Tex.
There will be no services in Alton other than a graveside service on Wed July 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
