Mitchell Craig “Whitey” Meisenheimer, 52, died at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home. Born October 10, 1961 in San Diego, CA, he was the son of Clifford “Cliff” Meisenheimer (Rhonda Keeney) of Brighton and the late Vivian (Scott) Meisenheimer. He worked as a machinist/supervisor for Diesel Component Rebuilders for the past 25 years. Along with his father and step-mother he is survived by a mother-in-law, Pat Taylor of Alton, and five children, Tiffini Yost (Wayne) of Brighton, Crystal Meisenheimer of Alton, Clifford S. Meisenheimer (Jennifer) of East Alton, Calista Meisenheimer of Alton, and Angel Rose Meisenheimer of Alton, three grandsons, four granddaughters, a sister, Allison Meisenheimer of Demotte, IN, numerous nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend of many years, Helen Parker. Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Meisenheimer. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be private.
