John “Jack” R. Bradshaw, 74, passed away at 9:36 am Tuesday May 6, 2014 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on February 3, 1940 in West Alton, MO the son of Rex and Louise (Jentzch) Bradshaw.
Jack married Barbara Brunstein on August 18, 1962 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in West Alton. She survives.
He worked with Labor Local 218 and enjoyed fishing and was a retired drummer.
In addition to his wife, Barbara Bradshaw of West Alton, he is also survived by three sons and a daughter and son-in-law, Kurt Bradshaw of West Alton, Maria & Rick Beeson of Portage Des Sioux, Cory Bradshaw of St. Charles and Scott Bradshaw of St. Charles; eight grandchildren, Nick , Jake, and Beau Beeson, Cameron, Kayla, and Karlie Bradshaw, and Galyon and Rebecca Bradshaw; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Iva & John Dreckshage of West Alton and Joan & Jerry Wagner of St. Charles, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark & Darlene Bradshaw of Florissant, MO.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday May 9, 2014 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton and will continue from 9 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am Saturday May 10, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church in West Alton with Father Robert Banken celebrant.
Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Alton.
