Virginia M. McVey, 84, passed away at 5:21 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 6, 1929 in Centralia, Ill., she was a daughter of Kenneth Isaac and Madonna (Lippert) Stover.
Virginia worked as a beautician, and loved collecting antiques.
She is survived by a son, Terry McVey of Ajo, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Kassie McVey; a great grandson, Noah McVey; and a brother and sister, Robert Stover and JoAnn Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Stover.
No services are scheduled.
