Rayetta Ann Hornback, 66, passed away at 9:40 am on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on July 8, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Raymond “Pete” Allen Fanetta F. (Dodenhof) Hornback.
Rayetta was an analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Wood River. She enjoyed reading, shopping on QVC and most of all she loved her dogs, Mandy and Jenny.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Renee and John Rhodes of Bethalto; two nephews, Jonathan Rhodes and his fiancée, Rachael and Brian Rhodes and his wife, Ashleigh and a niece, Samantha Rhodes and two great nieces, Chloe Rhodes-Brower and Hayleigh Rhodes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Wood River on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 4 pm with Pastor Michael Southcombe officiating.
Inurnment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
