David Paul Diestelhorst II Jr, 52, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at his residence on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:06 am.

He was born July 15, 1961, in Litchfield, IL to David Paul Diestelhorst Sr & Edith Jane Diestelhorst. He was a Supervisor for Global Brass. David was a nature enthusiast, enjoyed cooking and his children .

 He is survived by his mother, Jane Diestelhorst of Bunker Hill, IL, children, David Diestelhorst of Evans, GA, currently based in Ft Gordon, GA, Mitch Diestelhorst of Edwardsville, IL, Rylee Diestelhorst of Edwardsville, IL, siblings, Linda (Mike) Hawkins of Brighton, IL, Cindy (John) Thyer of Bunker Hill, IL, Barb Diestelhorst of Bunker Hill, Sam (David) Darr of Bethalto, IL, Paula (Hugh) Gallagher of Edwardsville, IL, Karl Diestelhorst of Bunker Hill, IL, several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services are Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL with Fr. Robert Porter officiating. Memorials are suggested to MS.
