Norma Wolf

Norma J. Wolf, 86, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Rosewood Care Center, Edwardsville, IL on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12:00 pm. She was born November 1, 1927, in Brighton, IL to Julius Maxeiner & Flora Maxeiner. She married Kenneth Wolf on May 20, 1950 at Salem Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2008. She worked as a homemaker and at the family farm, a nurse's aide at Tower View Nursing Home in Bunker Hill and an LPN at Eden Village in Edwardsville. Norma was a member of the Bunker Hill Lions Club, Ladies Guild at St. John's United Church of Christ Midway, Kuntry Kuzins Square Dance club & AARP. She is survived by her children, Myron Wolf of Dorsey, IL, Maureen Walsh of Sheridan, MI, Melissa Wolf of Tybee Island, GA, 4 grandchildren, Ryan Walsh, Nicholas Walsh, Emily Walsh and Jacob Walsh, siblings, Shirley (Harvey) Lyerla of Fosterburg, IL, & Kenneth (Christina) Maxeiner of Brighton, IL. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, sister, Joyce Burk, brother, Keith Maxeiner & sister, Audrey Maxeiner in infancy. Friends may call on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services are Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. John's United Church of Christ Midway with Pastor Lori Schafer officiating. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens, Bethalto, IL.
