Vickie D. Weishaupt, 67, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at her home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1946 in Alton.
She married Vincent L. Weishaupt Nov. 25, 1971, and they shared 41 years of marriage together before he passed away on Dec. 8, 2012.
Vickie worked as a dog groomer for Jean’s Petite Poodle Parlor, and tended bar at Dugout and Last Chance. She loved to work in her garden.
Survivors include several half-sisters and a half-brother.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at Paynic Home for Funerals.
She will be laid to rest next to Vincent at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 5 A’s animal shelter.
