Mildred R. “Millie” Redenbo, 70, passed away and went to be with the Lord at 3:17pm on Monday, January 6, 2014, at Bethalto Care Center. She was born on December 5, 1943, in Grassy, Missouri the daughter of the late Charley O. and Marie (Hill) Withers. She married Harold Redenbo on November 26, 1966, in East Alton and he survives. Other survivors include one daughter and son in law: Deana and Thomas Brinkley of Rosewood Heights, a granddaughter: Emily Brinkley, one sister and brother in law: Helen and Wilbur Marth of Bunker Hill, one brother: Wilburn Withers of Bethalto, and a sister in law: Lavada Withers of Bethalto.
She was a homemaker, she was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in South Roxana
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Bill Withers, and one sister in law: Jeannine Withers.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Friday, January 10, 2014, at the funeral home. Pastor Ricky Ham will officiate. Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorials are suggested to Bethalto Care Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
