Gayla “Gail” Timmermeier—Hartford
Gayla “Gail” Dawn Timmermeier, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at her home.
Born Aug. 18, 1963 in Alton, she was a daughter of John J. and Mary Lou (Thompson) Timmermeier.
She worked for CR Systems in East Alton as a custodian and also worked as a person caretaker.
She loved boating and she loved her cats.
Survivors include her brothers, Earl “Marty” Timmermeier of Godfrey and Ray Timmermeier of Alton; and a sister, Shelley (Mark) Schlotener of Shipman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary “Orange” Shaw; and a brother, Joe Timmermeier.
The family will hold a memorial service Friday, Sept. 13 at River of Life Church in Alton at 4:00 p.m. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the services begin.
Memorials may be made to the church.
