Caitlyn Rae “Caity Bug” Bishop

Caitlyn Rae “Caity Bug” Bishop passed away in her mother’s arms at 9:20 am Saturday July 27, 2013 in her home. Caitlyn was born May 25, 2011 to Nathan & Amy (Jackson) Bishop.
In addition to her parents, Caitlyn is survived by her best friend and brother Matthew Austin, Maternal Grandparents C.A. “Scooter” and Jane (Alexander) Jackson. Maternal great-grandmother Lauretta (Jilek) Alexander; Paternal Grandfather Dean E Bishop, Sr.; Uncle (Godfather) Brad Jackson; Uncles Dean(o), Russ, Dan, David Bishop, Aunt Nora Bishop; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by Grandmother Brenda (Shields) Bishop and Great-Grandfather Ray Alexander, who inspired Caitlyn’s middle name.
Caitlyn was a beautiful, strong little girl who brought so much joy to so many lives and her memory will live on in the smile & laughter of her big brother
A memorial service will be held at Holy Ghost Church in Jerseyville on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father William Hembrow officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
