Ronald Kenneth Criteser, 73, passed away 11:47 a.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his residence.
Born on April 10, 1943 in East St. Louis, he was the son of Kenneth and Irene (Dodson) Criteser.
He was a mechanic for Albrecht-Hamlin Chevrolet for over 30 years before retiring.
On March 21, 1964 in Alton, he married the former Barbara L. Smith. She died December 14, 2004.
Surviving are two daughters, Dyanna (Dr. Paul M.) Redman of Byrnes Mill, MO, Kelly (Tim) McGuire of Rosewood Heights; two granddaughters, Bailey Ann and Darcey Lynn McGuire; brother, Jerry Criteser of East Alton; and two sisters, Joanne Robinson of Alton and Rosalene Lamp of Enfield.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to Roxana Special School District or the Farm Aid Organization.
