Joyce Jenkins, 75, formerly of Alton, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Crossroads Hospital in Mt Vernon, IL.
She was born on January 1, 1940 in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Delbert W. and Bessie M. (Kirkpatrick) Jenkins.
Joyce was a former member of the 1st Baptist Church of Cottage Hill, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Betty Wiasson, Peggy Zimmerman and Grace Norvell.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2015, from 10 to 11 am at the Newell Funeral Home in Mt Vernon, IL with Pastor Randy Steele officiating.
Burial will take place at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
