Jeanne E. Holt, 77, passed away 7:35 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her daughter's residence.
Born in Alton on March 24, 1938, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (McDow) Fudurich.
Jeanne served as the East Alton Village Clerk for 16 years and then became the Senior Services Coordinator for the Village.
She married James "Jim" Holt on April 12, 1958 in Wood River. He died November 3, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth "Kay" (Jonathan) Moles of Nicholasville, KY, Stacy (Phillip) Tierney of Wood River; four grandchildren, Hannah and Heather Moles, Phillip and Kathleen Tierney; a brother, Jerry (Mary) Fudurich; and a special cousin, Mary Malone.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. Pastor Michael Southcombe will officiate.
Burial will follow in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project.
