Paul Raymond Scudder, 58, passed away 10:32 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his residence. Born in New Albany, IN on May 11, 1957, he was the son of Paul D. and Nancy C. (Lee) Scudder. He had worked as a laborer and an independent painter. He is survived by a son, Paul Matthew; a daughter, Diamond; grandson, Jackson; sister, Judith VanAusdoll of Hartford; niece and nephew, Theresa Gillson and Ryan VanAusdoll both of Wood River; two wonderful great nieces, who were dear to his heart Brody 'Sumo Short Bus' Gillson and Brianna 'Susie' Gillson both of Wood River. His parents and a brother, Charles Anthony "Tony" Scudder preceded in death. No services have been planned. In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated. Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
