Deborah Christine Banfield, 65, of Bethalto, IL, died at 10:30 p.m. Tues. Apr. 28, 2015 at her home under hospice care.
She was born Dec. 30, 1949 in Heidelberg, Germany to the late John & Carolyn (Hilligoss) Coughlin.
Deborah worked for many years as an LPN for the department of corrections, retiring from the St. Louis Justice Center.
Survivors include: a son, Martin (Rachel) Stevens of Tallahassee, FL, 2 daughters, Stacey (Brent) Grable of Moro, IL and Carrie Banfield of Bethalto, 5 grandchildren, Dylan Stevens and Cameron, Kylee, Madysen & Brayden Zyung, 1 sister, Carol Doore of OH; 2 brothers, Bob (Annette) Coughlin of Tallahassee, FL and Tom Coughlin of TX; and a stepsister, Connie Longfellow of Tallahassee.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Michael Banfield, step mother, Midge Coughlin and a brother, David Coughlin.
Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thurs. May 7, 2015 at Paynic Home for Funerals. Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
