Danny L. Zipprich, 68, passed away 6:37 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born in Alton on October 10, 1946, he was the son of Leo and Betty (Vincent) Zipprich.
Danny enjoyed traveling and going to concerts. He worked as a Team Leader in the Operations Excellence Division at the Conoco-Phillips 66 Refinery in Roxana.
On February 12, 1966 in Wood River, he married the former Linda Rutherford. She survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Mark (Emily) Zipprich of Alton, Jason (Erica) Zipprich of Maryville; two grandchildren, Teagan Zipprich and Draya Zipprich; brother, Jim (Marilyn) Zipprich of Moro; aunt, Bernadine DeWitt; and uncle, Tom Vincent.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Angels Parish Church in Wood River. Father James Flach will be celebrant.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society.
