The St. Louis Zoo Association wants people living around the site of the old Deaconess Hospital to dream big.  The Zoo Association held an open house about the 14-acre property last night, presenting some ideas but asking for public input about the property as well.

SWT Design, a planning firm hired by the zoo association, presented a photo gallery of potential ideas, including a Ferris wheel, aquariums, gardens and more.  Among ideas suggested by residents were a hotel, a pedestrian bridge across Highway 40, a farmer's market and a dog park.
