The Alton Youth Symphony will present its 47th annual Fall Concert Sunday at the Ann Whitney Olin Theater at Lewis & Clark Community College. Starting at 2pm, the program will include performances by the full group, as well as the Junior Youth Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra. It is free to attend.

Alton Youth Symphony was formed in 1969 when Ken Conrady, Larry Crabbs, and small group of music teachers from the Alton area recognized the need to extend musical opportunities to students whose schools either had no music program or a program too small to include an orchestra.
