Students in the Alton School District are joining forces with the Drug Free Alton Coalition in an effort to better the community. The second annual Youth Speak Out, hosted by the Coalition later this month, will give youth an opportunity to have their voices heard by local leaders and decision makers. Organizers say the end goal is to create a vision for positive change within the community.

The Youth Speak Out will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Community Center on Tuesday, April 14. For more information call  463-3505 extension 238 or visit
