Work has not yet begun on the building that will house the new Wood River Police Department, but that doesn’t mean that progress isn’t being made on the project. Plans for the building continue to take shape, and the city council has approved the subdivision of the land at the corner of 6th Street and Madison.
Wood River City Manager Jim Schneider tells The Big Z there is more paperwork to be done before the first shovel moves any dirt.
