As the closure of the lower lanes of U.S. 67 between the Clark and Lewis Bridges in Missouri drags on, the Highway Patrol has apparently taken a few reports recently of wrong-way drivers on the upper lanes.  Obviously illegal and a terrible idea, a MoDot spokesman says they continue to monitor the situation, but remain at the mercy of the floodwaters.

Missouri Department of Transportation spokesman Shaunda White tells The Big Z it has not been possible to run head-to-head traffic on the upper lanes.

She says with the closure still in place, motorists are being rerouted to I-270 to cross the Mississippi River into Missouri.
