Athletes from around the Riverbend and beyond are getting ready for the 29th annual Wood River Triathlon. Starting at 7am on August 9, contestants will swim, bike, and run a course that runs through a residential section of town, beginning at the Wood River Aquatic Center. The course is a 2-mile loop through town.
Wood River Park & Recreation Superintendent Jason Woody says this is a great event to participate in if you’ve ever thought about joining a triathlon.
