The Wood River City Council has given its final approval to a plan to redevelop the former Lincoln School property on North Wood River Avenue.  The city took possession of the property a couple of years ago, the property was leveled, and it looks like the construction on the first of two new homes will begin soon.

He says nine houses in all are planned for the lot.  In other council business, the city will be buying 8 new police vehicles in the amount of $278,000.
